Hello Fabulous
I just wanted to address something that I am told again and again. So many people say to me ‘I would love to be like you but I’m not creative at all’ or ‘I’ll let the kids join in I don’t have a creative bone in my body.’ I was told the latter only a few days ago.

We are creative beings. We are all creative. We may not be ‘good’ at drawing or told at school by your art teacher that you’re ‘rubbish at this’ (yes someone actually told me they were told that) but that doesn’t mean you are not creative. We all make choices every day that take creative input.
-
Your hair style, hair cut, hair decorations
-
Your clothes. Every single piece of clothing is a choice
-
Your jewellery, your watch, your wedding ring
-
Your shoes, shocks, shoe laces
-
Your glasses
Even if you have to wear a uniform, you will look different from everyone else, you will wear it a different way.
What about your home? There are hundreds of creative choices there.
-
All the different sorts of furniture you have, the style and colour choices you have to make
-
Cushions choices
-
Fabric choices
-
Wall paper and paint styles and colours
For those of you, like me, who have pets. How we dress them is a creative choice. What colour collar and lead. What sort of coat do you choose to keep them warm in the winter?
What sort of phone cover do you choose?
One of my favourite creative choices is stationery. I love to choose pens, pencils, paper, note books etc.
I bet you doodle when on the phone or bored. Why not collect all those doodles and make a collage.
These are just a few creative choices that I can think of. Please add to them.
Just because someone has told you that you are no good at something, it doesn’t mean it’s true.
